A few photos from Stoke Newington Gallery

As a final post of the year, and in response to many of my friends who weren't able to make it to see the exhibition of drawings I showed at the Stoke Newington Library Gallery but were keen to see what it looked like, here are some photos.

Although it was the first time in ages that I have exhibited, it was a very successful evening and I really enjoyed showing the work. The feedback and encouragement from friends and visitors was fantastic and has given my love of drawing a boost of energy and renewed my interest in showing work publicly.

Recent drawings exhibition in Stoke Newington

For the first time in a very long time I am exhibiting some work in a gallery. I am showing six drawings done in the last year at the Stoke Newington Library Gallery in N16 London. The private view is on Thursday, 15 December 2011 from 6-8 (or 9) pm.

I haven't made much noise about this exhibition and have hardly even mentioned it to anyone for some reason. But framing the work last week, and then hanging the work today felt as if I had come full circle and returned to a place in myself that feels like 'home'.

If you are reading this and are free to pop in to the gallery tomorrow for a glass of wine and a chat, I would love to see you.
